This Yorx receiver is probably from the early to mid 80s. At only 2x4 watts, it's a lot bigger than it needs to be.

Yorx M2405

The M2405 was an "all in one" stereo from Yorx, featuring an AM/FM receiver, a tape deck, and a digital alarm clock. I think it's from the early 1980s. It measures 19-3/4" wide and 9-1/4" tall. It tries to look impressive, with metal trim and big knobs, but it's no powerhouse. According to the service manual, its output power is only 2x4 watts. Many boomboxes from the same time period had more power than that. Not surprisingly, there's lots of empty space inside, which explains why I can carry it with only one hand. To get more power, you would have needed to step up to the M2411.
